BA220 — Structure and Governance of Sport
This course takes a look at the governance structures of sport organizations and the power and politics within these structures as well as current policy issues and the ethical issues in these structures. Area of topics that will be covered are the governance of sport, sport ethics, policy development, collegiate governance, competitive balance, disability sport issues, commercialization of sport, gender equity, and globalization.
