AH200 — Principles of Pharmacology (Non-nursing)

This course is the study of the principles of pharmacology and their application to allied health professionals (non-nursing). Mathematics skills are reviewed for the safe administration of medications. The nursing process, critical thinking and therapeutic communication in a community-based health care system are included. Cultural and ethnic variations are discussed. Emphasis is placed on committing to lifelong learning in the continually changing area of health care.
