OAS232 — Advanced Medical Coding ICD 10-CM (3 credit hours)

Students will use hospital inpatient case scenarios as they apply concepts to ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding. Students will learn where to locate and apply rules and guidelines, conventions and instructions of ICD-10-PCS as they determine appropriate classification codes.
