FIRE230 — Fire Hydraulics & Water Supply (3 credit hours)

Hydrostatics and hydrokinetics, Bernoulli’s Theorem, Pascal’s Theorem, Venturi Action, Hazen-Williams Formula, water distribution systems, pump velocity, discharge, friction loss, engine and nozzle pressures as they relate to the study of fire science.
