ED101 — Introduction to Education (3 credit hours)
Introduces students to the field of education. Emphasis is placed on the history of teacher education, theories that influence today’s practice, and opportunities to explore the professional roles and ethical responsibilities of educators within the educational system. Students will examine the various cultural, social, and legislative influences at the national, state, local levels on the decision-making process of schools.
