TECH 1021 - Industrial Safety TECH 1021 - Industrial Safety This course provides students with the basic safety knowledge required in today’s industrial workplace. Topics covered include accident reduction, safety training, safety involvement, safety inspections, accident investigations, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, machine safeguarding, tool safety, materials-handling safety, electrical and fire safety, hazard communication. Successful students will receive an industry-recognized certification as appropriate for their program of study. Lecture 1 hour per week.
