AJ 2203 - Introduction to Corrections AJ 2203 - Introduction to Corrections This course provides a more in-depth introduction to correctional systems beyond the scope of AJ-1003, Intro to Criminal Justice. Topics will include historical evolution of corrections, correctional philosophies, modern practices, procedures and goals of both community-based corrections and institutional corrections. The course will also address contemporary issues facing correctional populations. Lecture 3 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): AJ 1003
