MUSC 2251 — Applied Music 2

Students pursuing a degree in music have weekly private instruction with an artist-level teacher on their respective instruments. Weekly lessons include topics such as: sophomore repertoire development, technical studies, instrument-specific issues, sophomore recital preparation, performance concerns, and preparation for transfer auditions. Students and faculty meet together 60 minutes per week. This course is the second half of a two-year sequence designed to prepare a student for audition and transfer into a music program at a junior level. This course may be taken twice for a maximum total of 2 credits.
