DENH 1150 — Dental Radiology

Radiographs are an essential component of the identification, diagnosis, education and management of oral and systemic diseases. Students study radiation theory, physics, biology, measurement and safety related to the use of radiation in health care. Using manikins and clinic patients, students learn clinical techniques in dental radiography and patient management. Students are introduced to radiographic interpretation, which allows the radiographs to be used for the care and benefit of the patient.
