CHWN 2096 — Community Health Worker Internship

Community Health Workers apply advocacy and outreach skills, along with tools developed through the certificate program to meet the needs of a variety of organizations. A minimum of 80 hours of supervised CHW job training is completed in combination with related CHW coursework. Weekly training hours are determined through a collaborative agreement among the CHW student, the host organization, and the faculty advisor.

Prerequisites: CHWN 1000, CHWN 1100, CHWN 1200
