Topics include legal aspects of emergency vehicle operations, navigation and route mapping, driver roles and responsibilities, basic driving skills, and proper driving procedures. The first day of class is conducted in the classroom; the second day of class includes a hands-on practical, in which participants will drive an emergency vehicle through a competency course.
