3 Credit(s) This 80-hour course meets the 76-hour training requirements of The Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1987 (OBRA) for aides working in nursing facilities (NF) and skilled nursing facilities (SNF). Emphasizes the achieving of a basic level of knowledge and demonstrating skills to provide safe, effective resident care. The course has been developed into six units of study.
