HSC136 — Advanced Life Support ACLS/PALS

1.5 Credit(s) This course is designed for healthcare students who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary, respiratory, and shock emergencies. Through didactic instruction and active participation in the simulation, students will enhance their skills in the recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-arrest, acute arrhythmia, stroke, shock and acute coronary syndromes. This course provides the minimal cognitive and psychomotor skills of pediatric and adult emergency care.

Prerequisites: RCP600, RCP820
