4 Credit(s) During this course students will receive a comprehensive introduction to the principles of direct current and alternating current electricity. Course content will include theory to DC and AC sources, power, and the relationship between voltage, current, and resistance along with capacitive and inductive circuits, magnetism, and transformers. Practical laboratory experiences will be provided allowing the student to gain familiarity with sources, components, and basic measuring instruments.
