HSER 1800 — Mental Health Awareness in Human Services

The course introduces an overview of the range of mental disorders throughout the lifespan including those impacting children and the elderly. Students will learn to identify signs and symptoms of each disorder in addition to learning basic skills and therapeutic treatments that effectively help individuals who have mental disorders.
