EAP 1280 — Listening and Speaking for College Success

This class focuses on listening and speaking skills for college. You will refine note-taking skills of college lectures. You will also complete research for formal class presentations. In both lectures and presentations, global perspectives are highlighted. The course also reviews tone, register, rhythm, stress, and emphasis as critical elements in delivering a speech.
