CHEM 2062 — Organic Chemistry II

This course is a study of the mechanism of reactions of, and the structure of, all of the carbonyl compounds and their derivatives, and of the carbohydrates, amino acids, proteins, heterocyclics, other natural products sequence reactions, unknown identification and original literature preparations. Spectroscopic analysis will be utilized throughout these experiments. (4 hours lecture, 4 hours lab)
