CHEM 1030 — Introduction to Physical Sciences

In this course, students will explore the basics of chemistry and physics by examining such concepts as understanding and measuring matter; atoms, elements, compounds and mixtures; physical and chemical properties of matter; states of matter; chemistry fundamentals, the periodic table; bonding and types of compounds; mixtures and solutions; chemical reactions; properties and sourc
