WEL241 — Robotic Welding I
2 credit(s) Summer course only. Students must co-enroll in WEL 241 and WEL 242. Examines safety, setup, programming, and operation of a welding robot. Covers variables and problems in addition to solutions applied to provide a practical and efficient application of the Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) process to an automated system. (Part I of II) Lecture 1 hour, Laboratory 3 hours. Total 4 hours per week.
