MTH245 — Statistics I

3 credit(s) Presents an overview of statistics, including descriptive statistics, elementary probability, probability distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, correlation, and linear regression. Credit will not be awarded for both MTH 155 and MTH 245 or equivalent in the same academic plan. This is a Passport and UCGS transfer course . Lecture 3 hours. Total 3 hours per week.

Prerequisites: MTH154, MTH161, MTH155
