3 credit(s) Course Delivery Options: Online Semesters: Fall Additional Notes: Advanced database concepts using MySQL/MariaDB and MySQL Workbench. Topics include views, triggers, stored procedures, indexing, normalization, and transaction control. Final project deliverable: Students pitch, develop, and present a database focused on a real-world application. Focuses in-depth instruction in the handling of critical tasks of planning and implementing large databases. Includes an introduction to concepts of advanced data warehousing and database configuration. Lecture 3 hours per week.
