PHIL 1010 - Biblical Studies PHIL 1010 - Biblical Studies This course is designed for students transferring into Belmont University’s Nursing Program. 3 Class Hours A survey of the Judeo-Christian canon of scripture from the Hebrew Pentateuch through the Christian New Testament. Emphasizes current scholarly approaches to Biblical texts, the historical, socio-political, and theological context of the canon, and analysis of patterns and themes within the canon.
