BIOL 1000 - Medical Terminology BIOL 1000 - Medical Terminology 3 Class Hours This course will cover the basic techniques for anatomical, physiological, and medical word-building. The course will teach a systematic approach to defining general medical terms and terms for pathological disorders by dividing them into word roots, combining forms, suffixes, and prefixes. A grade of “C” or above in all Surgical Technology and Central Processing curriculum courses must be earned prior to graduation. Semester Availability: All Not part of a Tennessee Transfer Pathway
