Physician Assistant
Physician assistants practice medicine on teams with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare workers, examining, diagnosing, and treating patients in offices, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. Students may earn an Associate's degree at Muskegon Community College to transfer to a four-year college or university. PAs typically need a master's degree from an accredited program and must be licensed in all states. Employment is projected to grow 37% from 2016 to 2026, with a median annual wage of $104,860.
