Environmental Science
Environmental scientists and specialists use knowledge of the natural sciences to protect the environment and human health. They may clean up polluted areas, advise policymakers, or work with industry to reduce waste. Work occurs in offices, laboratories, and the field gathering data and monitoring environmental conditions. MCC offers a foundational Associate in Science and Arts (ASA) in Environmental Science with Michigan Transfer pathway, preparing students for transfer to a four-year college.
