Astronomy
This program meets science requirements for a college degree and prepares students majoring in Astronomy to enter junior-level courses at transfer institutions. Students learn to identify the contents of the known universe, understand the scientific method, and distinguish hypotheses, theories, and laws. Through exams, quizzes, homework, and field projects, students collect and analyze real astronomical data and communicate findings in writing.
