Welding Technology
MCC offers an associate in applied science and a certificate in Welding Technology, covering fabrication of metal products from rolled, stamped, forged, or cast shapes. Training addresses welding methods, materials, procedures, and realistic industry problems. MCC is the only AWS Accredited Testing Facility in west Michigan and one of six in the state, offering certification testing in pipe and plate on steel, stainless, and aluminum. Students interested in materials engineering, robotics, CAD, and systems integration can shape a career around their interests in this high-demand field.
