CIS257A — HTML Internet Web Page Design

Students will learn the fundamentals of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML5), CSS and web page design. Students will use internet browsers, image editors, IDEs and text editing software to create and edit web pages for traditional computers and mobile devices. They will also learn to create a web page and publish a website on the Internet using File Transfer Protocols (FTP). Students will be expected to critique other web pages and, there will be demonstrations of JavaScript, the DOM model and other Internet tools.

Prerequisites: CIS110, CIS120A, CIS-120A
