CIS216 — Intro to Data Science

This course will give students an introduction to the main tools and skills needed for a strong foundation in data science. Topics of discussion include probability and statistics, regression, machine learning, data collection and wrangling, ETL management, and causal inference. Students will learn how to properly collect and analyze data and use mathematical and economic tools to make informed decisions and deliver clear presentations to relevant stakeholders.

Prerequisites: CIS186, MATH115A, MATH215A
