HST 111 — HST111 Medieval World History (Cultural Literacy course)
HST111 surveys the history of the world from the early medieval period (approximately 600 C.E.) to approximately 1750 C.E. Topics include medieval Asian, Middle Eastern, African, American and European civilizations. Topics also include the development and spread of universal religions, the regional and global impact of empires, and increasing global connectedness throughout the period. There is an emphasis on world geography.
