ART 240 — ART240 Character Design and Illustration
This course introduces beginners to character design and caricature drawing strategies that can be applied to cartooning, comics, graphic novels and animation. Students learn both analog and digital methods for individual application, and bring analog elements into the digital world for visual enhancement. Students learn contemporary and traditional approaches for character development, and apply them in comics, animation and graphic novel forms.
