IVCE 1000 — IVCE 1000
IV Foundations is a 21-hour course, completed over 2 weeks. This advanced course was developed for healthcare professionals with over 20 hours of prior phlebotomy experience, expanding skills and enhancing patient care. This comprehensive course provides in-depth training in intravenous therapy techniques and procedures. With our IV Foundations course, students acquire the expertise needed to confidently perform the placement of IV catheters. Students will place IV’s on classmates and volunteers. All students are required to participate as a patient and a phlebotomist with their classmates. The final exam will consist of a written test and IV skills tests.
