0 or higher, or successful completion of ACRD-090, ACRD-091 or ACRD-092. An introduction to local, state, national and international health agencies. Also, an overview of epidemiology and research in dentistry. Dental hygiene students are guided through stages of program assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to strengthen the students’ understanding of and ability to work effectively with a variety of people and organizations within a community.
