The course emphasizes practical assignments that examine applied problem solving and professional solutions for designers. Through the use of design thinking, students learn to create effective visuals, organize information and communicate particular message to an audience. Specific themes/topics for the course include visual grouping and hierarchy, visual identity development and the relationship of image and motion in design.
