A beginning level design course that introduces students to the foundation for effective and professional processes that are developed around client-need, target audience, design briefs and graphic styles. The course emphasizes practical assignments that examine applied problem solving and professional solutions for designers. Through the use of design thinking, students learn to create effective visuals, organize information and communicate particular message to an audience. Computer and software access will be needed to successfully complete this course. Course
