MSCC 1300 - Introduction to College Success MSCC 1300 - Introduction to College Success 3 sem hrs cr This course is designed to empower students to reach their educational and career goals while also exposing them to global and cultural awareness. Students will become familiar with college resources, policies, and procedures while also improving their time-management, study, research, and technology skills. Collaborative learning opportunities are designed to improve critical-thinking, problem-solving, and reading-comprehension abilities. Students who do not complete this course successfully in the first semester and still have unsatisfied Learning Support requirements must retake the course while enrolled in Learning Support courses. Students who have earned 24 college credit hours and have a college GPA of 2.0 or higher prior to enrollment in MSCC 1300 are exempt from this course requirement.
