MAT 086 — Intermed Algebra-Part II

This is the second of two courses designed for students with a background in elementary algebra who need additional preparation before enrolling in college algebra. Topics include factoring polynomials, rational expressions, rational exponents and radicals, quadratic equations, and related applications. Lecture two hours per week.

Prerequisites: MAT 085
