MAT 085 — Intermediate Algebra-Part I

This is the first of two courses designed for students with a background in elementary algebra who need additional preparation before enrolling in college-level math courses. Topics include graphing linear equations, functions, solving systems of linear equations and systems of linear inequalities, properties of exponents, scientific notation, polynomials, and related applications. Lecture two hours per week.

Prerequisites: MAT 084, MAT 093
