Description: An exploration of the psychology of disaster, incorporating biological, cognitive, social, and clinical psychology. Students will learn about natural and human-caused disasters, the psychophysiological response to disasters from the perspectives of civilians and first-responders, preparing for and implementing institutional policies to address disasters, interpersonal considerations, and the necessity of self-care. 54.00 hours lecture.
