Registered Behavior Technician, Proficiency Award

The primary role of a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is to directly implement treatment plans with individuals of all ages who could be typically or atypically developing. This program is designed to prepare students for RBT certification. In these courses, students will learn about the clinical concepts and applications of the core tasks that are likely to be performed by behavior technicians. Students will practice implementing procedures to reach high fidelity. Instructors will provide in-vivo feedback to students, similar to that which would be delivered in-field by their supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® (BCaBA®).
