WLD 271 - Introduction to Aluminum WLD 271 - Introduction to Aluminum Students learn about and experience variations that exist with the introduction of aluminum and/or other exotic metals within the production welding and fabrication industry, utilizing GMAW and GTAW. Fabrication projects include layout, fit-up, and alignment using various aluminum material shapes, including flat, round, angle, etc. Prerequisite: WLD 171 Search Course Schedule for availability
