PSY 290 - Research Methods PSY 290 - Research Methods This course is designed to introduce the various types of research methods used across the social and behavioral sciences. The systematic application of the scientific method; evaluating, designing, and reporting on social and behavioral science research is emphasized. This course consists of lecture and lab components with laboratory work, critical research, an academic literature review, and the writing and reporting of psychological research according to the guidelines provided by the American Psychological Association. Prerequisite: PSY 101 and PSY 235 with a ‘C’ or better Search Course Schedule for availability
