PHI 101 - Introduction to Philosophy PHI 101 - Introduction to Philosophy This course is an introduction to major philosophies from a global perspective. The course traces the evolution of philosophy from its ancient beginnings to more contemporary theories. Topics addressed include critical thinking and logic, the nature of reality, the existence of God, what constitutes knowledge and how it is obtained, value and aesthetics, normative and applied moral theories, and social and political theories.
