MFG 116 - Automation and Motor Control Basics MFG 116 - Automation and Motor Control Basics This course introduces students to the fundamentals of industrial automation and motor control systems. Topics include motor types, control devices, sensors, actuators, and basic programmable logic controller (PLC) operations. Students will gain hands-on experience in wiring and configuring control systems commonly used in manufacturing and maintenance environments. No prior automation experience required. Prerequisite: Completion of MFG 100 and MFG 105 and/or permission of facutly or Associate Dean Search Course Schedule for availability
