ELC 231 - Industrial Electricity II ELC 231 - Industrial Electricity II The course explores the operation of variable frequency drives, solid-state relays and other systems that utilize electronic devices. Covers the principles of single and three-phase motors, motor current draw, sequence of operations, wiring diagrams and the electrical components associated with industrial motors. Procedures for evaluating electrical and mechanical problems with motors, including the applicable safety equipment and procedures, are stressed.
