EGR 210 - Engineering Mechanics I: Statics EGR 210 - Engineering Mechanics I: Statics This course considers bodies, both particles and rigid bodies, under the influence of balanced forces such that the body is either stationary or moving at a constant velocity. Customary topics included are: force systems; resultants; equilibrium; distributed forces; area moments; fluid statics; friction; and stability.
