EDU 487 - Elementary Social Studies Methods EDU 487 - Elementary Social Studies Methods The course examines a variety of instructional strategies that support teachers in inquiry-based social studies at the elementary level, grades K-8. There will be an emphasis in building social studies awareness through inquiry skills, critical thinking, and an understanding of diversity as it relates to the classroom and the community.
