DMS 132 - Adult Echocardiography DMS 132 - Adult Echocardiography Adult Echocardiography covers the concepts, techniques, measurements, calculations and protocols that pertain to a normal adult transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE). This course establishes foundations for performing and interpreting a normal TTE that would be used later to understand abnormalities and diagnose cardiac pathologies. Students will gain an understanding of the role an echocardiographer plays in the diagnosis of cardiac diseases by understanding what the criteria is for “normal”. Prerequisite: DMS 112 Intro to Adult Echocardiography, DMS 122 Clinical I Corequisite: DMS 142 Search Course Schedule for availability
