BIO 309 - Ecology BIO 309 - Ecology This course offers a comprehensive overview of ecological principles, the physical and biological aspects of ecosystems, and their conservation and management. Topics include physiological ecology, eco-evolutionary dynamics and species adaptations, life history patterns, population dynamics, species interactions, community structure and dynamics, and landscape and ecosystem ecology. Laboratory activities focus on ecological laboratory and field skills, techniques, and applications to address ecological research questions.
