AJS 225 - Criminology AJS 225 - Criminology This course examines the field and practice of criminology-i.e., the study of crime-from classical, contemporary, and critical perspectives. The course materials will introduce you to the major theoretical explanations for defining and measuring criminal behavior and the different types of crime and victimization. Students will examine the larger social forces that both predict and define crime as well as evaluate various ways in which societies deal with crime. Prerequisite: AJS 101 with “C” or higher Search Course Schedule for availability
